7/15/2011 Cheat Meal
-
6am - 3/4 cup oats, 2 scoop whey
- 9am - 5oz ground turkey
- 11:45am - 6oz chicken, 8oz sweet potato
- 2:20pm - 6oz chicken, 10 almonds
- 7pm - 6oz chicken, 1/2 tbsp macadamia nut oil
- 7:30pm - WORKOUT
- 9:15pm - 6oz chicken, 8oz sweet potato
- 11pm - 12" pizza, one meat ball,ice cream, bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, bowl of granola cereal
I ran out of green veggies yesterday so that's why you don't see it one my log. I'll be switching to asparagus today.

Hello Tyler. I am 30 years old, 6". I have been working out around 2 years but I have no increased my weight (173lb). I normally consume 3300-3500 calories a day. My arms stay the same in size. I train 4 days a week. What do you recommend me. Keep working hard and wait for the results longer. Increse the calorie intake to 4000. Thank you for your great advice.

Tyler, In your recent post you said that you take Gaba. I was unsure of what it even was at first, but after review I also struggle with winding down at the end of the day do to the fact that I work three jobs. I think due to some of the stress my sleep is less than what I desire it to be. I was just wondering which brand of Gaba you recommend and if you think one is better than the other. Thanks in advance

Hey Tyler, I'm really confused about "net carbs" and I was wondering if fitness models who count their macros subtract carbs such as fiber or sugar alcohols when counting their carbohydrate intake. Eliminating them as carbs seems stupid to me since they do have a caloric value, right? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Gabe.

Hey Tyler, I'm trying to put on some muscle, and I have, but my bf% has gotten a little high so I was thinking of cutting like 10 lbs and then continuing. Any tips for the cut so i don't lose any muscle?

Brian - I didn't take any supplements for my first year of working out except protein powder. But if I knew what I know now then I would've taken BCAA,EFA's,Multi Vitamin,Creatine

kyle...tylers reponse will be interesting. i would argue this is about FAR MORE than a healthy lifestyle. this is about elite level physique...you do this for modeling or to look better than most people you interact with. you want to know they want you or admire you...whether you doing anything about it or not. at lease that is why i do it. i could spend far less than 10 hours a week training and far less than 100's per month on supplements and live a HEALTHY lifestyle.

For someone who has never taken supplements and is starting a workout and nutritional program from ground zero, when would you recommend they (me) start taking them?
